News broke earlier today that the ‘mysterious one’, T&T off spinner Sunil Narine will not feature in the West Indies Squad for the upcoming World Cup 2015.

The news came by way of one Dinanath Ramnarine via social media twitter, where he tweeted saying; “Okay guys it’s Sunil Narine, he will be out of the WC 2015 I wish Sunil all d best as he continues to work very hard on his bowling issues”. It was the same, Dinannath also who first made the Caribbean community aware of the omission of the Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard omission from the Windies squad.

It was the similar concerns that he was reported last year September, during the sixth edition of the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) in which he represented Kolkata Knight Riders) which saw him missing tournament final against Chennai Super Kings which lost by eight wickets.

This was followed up by his withdrawal from West Indies’ tour of India as the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) crackdown on suspect bowling action was at its height.

He took time off to work on his actions, even declining the help of the ICC, opting to complete his own rehabilitation.

Narine was included in the West Indies squad, announced earlier this month and was expected to be a leading charge in their bid for the top prize.

Narine, who last featured in an international duty during the home series against Bangladesh last August and on Sunday, led his local team to an emphatic victory in the Nagico Super 50 cup Final.
