Wata supports youth development in many ways, such as school boy football and athletics. This is simply an extension of Wata’s involvement in such community projects.”

The RuJohn Foundation has provided resources for thousands of underprivileged youth in Jamaica and the United States, leaving them with priceless memories, life lessons, and the confidence to achieve inschool and other endeavors. In addition to offering students the unique opportunity to experience sports camps and acting workshops led by professional athletes and entertainers, the foundation has also provided academic scholarships and funding for school lunch programs. In the past, the RuJohn Foundation has offered assistance for hurricane victims, refurbished two basketball courts and renovated the athletic building at Kingston College, where the camp is hosted annually.

The Wata sponsored RuJohn Foundation Sports Camp was a memorable experience for the youngsters in attendance. The camp participants have definitely benefited from the workshops. We hope they will apply this self-belief and motivation both on and off court and the field of play.
