All the NBA Games scheduled for tonight will not be played after the Milwaukee Bucks decided to boycott game 5 of their first round playoffs against the Orlando Magic, which was scheduled to begin at 4:00pm EST.

The boycott was triggered by the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday. Blake was shot in the back seven times by a police officer who was responding to a domestic dispute.

Blake survived the shooting but is paralyzed from the waist down and is unlikely to walk again.

With the shooting taking place in their home state, the Bucks decided to voice their frustration to the situation by not taking the court.

It was reported shortly after, that the two other games scheduled for today, the Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers vs Los Angeles Lakers will also not be played, as players from those teams announced that they would be following the lead of the Bucks.

It is not clear if the games scheduled for tomorrow will be played or what the demands of the players are.

The official statement from the NBA is that the games have been postponed and will be rescheduled.
