Rain spoil party for Barbados and CCC

Persistent rain across Scarborough forced officials to abandon the zone B match around the middle of the afternoon without a ball being bowled.

Officials, at one point, were hoping play would start after the scheduled luncheon interval after the covers came on when the rain subsided around mid-morning.

But another deluge forced the covers back on leaving a wet outfield.

Barbados now move to seven points in Zone B while CCC is in second position on six points.
