After a nightmarish start to his managerial career at champions Manchester United, David Moyes who has seen his boys score back to back wins, in Europe and the league will be looking to close the gap on the premier league leaders this weekend.

Leaders Arsenal will host Liverpool who are tied on points with second place Chelsea in the last game on Saturday, but by that time is played United could have closed the gap on one or both teams if they can get the better of Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have had a less than auspicious start to the season and are just two points above the drop zone. Martin Jol will hope that his team can kick start their season with a victory over the champions who have looked beatable at times this season.

United had to come from behind twice last weekend before seeing off Stoke City 3-2 at Old Trafford thanks to late goals from Wayne Rooney and Chicarito Hernandez. The Red Devils are in eighth position and not even a win will move them up more than one position in the standings. Their next game in the league after the mid-week champions league clash away to Real Sociedad will be against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday November 10th.

Wayne Rooney seems to have found a new lease on life at United and has been in good form for the club. Robin Van Persie and Chicarito Hernandez are also back to scoring goals which may be ominous for a listless looking Fulham team.
