Four schools are confirmed to contest the Preliminary Round of the inaugural Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA) St. Elizabeth Primary & Prep Schools Volleyball Championship League section, on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Santa Cruz Primary & Junior High starting 9:00am.
This follows the inaugural One Day Rally on October 25 won by Nain Primary & Junior High School’s “A” team, ahead of Geneva Primary “B: team and Santa Cruz P&JH. Five teams from the three schools contested the Rally.
Breas River Primary joins the group for the League that will see only one team per school via for semifinal placing in the Parish Finals at Geneva on Friday, November 15, 2013.
“Depending on the number of schools that enter the League, as many as two (the top two) will represent the parish at the National Finals on Friday, December 13 at the National Stadium Complex in Kingston,” revealed JaVA Western Region Coordinator Haile Mika’el.
