Results of JaVA Deran Lee Volleyball Championship Rally for Westmoreland’s Primary & Prep Schools

Unity Primary School “A” Team successfully defended their Jamaica Volleyball Association/Deran Lee Volleyball Rally Championship Title for Primary & Prep Schools in Westmoreland on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Chantilly Primary in the parish.

Unity Primary School “A” Team successfully defended their Jamaica Volleyball Association/Deran Lee Volleyball Rally Championship Title for Primary & Prep Schools in Westmoreland on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Chantilly Primary in the parish.

 Unity “A” was undefeated on the day topping the five-team Group 1, then disposing of Holly Hill “A” 9-7 in  the semis before coming from behind to clip Holly Hill “B” 9-8 for the gold medal.

New Road All Age “A” took the third place 9-8 over Holly Hill “A”

Unity “A”’s Jermaine Gardener was voted MVP and Maad Skills Player of the event that saw 11 schools entering 19 teams that played a total 40 matches: the winner being the first team to reach 9 points.

The League section will be in two Zones, the first on Wednesday, November 20 again at Chantilly and second on Friday November 22 at Loving Care Christian Academy; with the Finals is set for Friday November 29 at a venue to be announced.
