Stafanie Taylor missed her century by four runs, but lifted Jamaica to their second victory, a 102-run win over Guyana at Progress Park, in the second round of

 matches in the West Indies Women Super 50 yesterday. Taylor cracked 14 fours to reach 94 runs in 102 balls before Jamaica were dismissed for 233 runs.

Guyana struggled, particularly against the bowling of Taylor (3-13) and Shanel Daley (2-17), as the chase petered out into a paltry 131 for nine in 50 overs.

AT LA SEGESSE: The aggressive Deandra Dottin roared to a century to hand Barbados their first win, a commanding 235-run victory over host Grenada. Dottin blasted her way to 103 runs as Barbados amassed 303 for nine. Danielle Small (4-21) and Shaquana Quintyne (3-20) then destroyed the Grenadian batting as the host were all out for 67.

AT TANTEEN: Trinidad and Tobago coasted to an eight-wicket win over St Vincent and the Grenadines. The Vincentians were bowled out for 123 in 41.4 overs. Trinidad and Tobago cruised to 125 for two.
