Both teams are looking for a win tonight as they are desperate to snap their two game losing streak. The 49ers lost to the Indianapolis Colts 27-7 at home, and  the Rams lost to Dallas Cowboys 7-31 on the road in their last games.

The 49ers reached the Super Bowl earlier this year, however this season they are playing way below their expectations thus far, despite winning 34-28 against the Green Bay Packers in their home opener.

The 49ers Colin Kaepernick has not looked the same after throwing for 3 touchdowns and no interceptions against the Packers; in the last two games he has thrown 4 interceptions and no touchdowns.

The Rams had their fair share of trouble in their last two games. They allowed DeMarco Murray to rush for 175 yards and 1 touchdown on Sunday; while Tony Romo threw for 3 touchdowns and no picks.

This could lead to more trouble as they won’t have tight end Veron Davis and linebacker Patrick Willis in the lineup tonight. The 49ers had also lost the last time these two teams met.

The Rams are 2-0 at home versus the 49ers dating back to last season when Jeff Fisher became head coach and started to rebuild his team. Quarterback Sam Bradford has also completed 71.1 percent of his passes, scoring 4 touchdowns with zero interceptions; they look good going into tonight’s game.

In the Rams home opener against their Division Rivals Arizona Cardinals they rallied from a 11 points deficit to win 27-24 that made this season look promising to the St. Louis fans; now not so much.

Was the 49ers trip the Super Bowl a fluke? are Rams moving up as a contender in the NFL? let’s watch it unfold tonight at 8:30 on the NFL Network.
