High flying and title favourites Waterhouse FC fresh from their 2-0 win over Boys Town, are on the hunt for their second consecutive win when they host Cavalier SC in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) match scheduled for 5:00 pm at Drewsland today.

High flying and title favourites Waterhouse FC fresh from their 2-0 win over Boys Town, are on the hunt for their second consecutive win when they host Cavalier SC in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) match scheduled for 5:00 pm at Drewsland today.

Waterhouse’s new signees Romario Campbell and Marvin Morgan who both scored last Sunday, were on the score sheet again as Waterhouse whipped Port Morant United 7-1 in the Flow Cup on Thursday. Jermaine Anderson also got on the score sheet and he will again be the man to be contained by Cavalier who comes off a fresh win over Portmore United last Sunday.

Last season champions Harbour View will be aiming to rebound in the RSPLwhen they tackle Boys Town at Collie Smith Drive on Sunday starting at 3:30 pm. Both teams are coming off opening day defeats and while Harbour View bounced back with mid-week win over Rivoli United in the Flows Champions Cup. Boys Town however suffered further defeat at the hands of Tivoli Gardens and was knocked out of the Flow Champions Cup.

With the premier league the main focus, both teams will be hunting that win to kick start their season. The Red Brigades looked lethargic in their 2-4 loss to Tivoli Gardens where they were constantly exposed at the back and will have to show significant improvement to deny the front line of Harbour View.

At Catherine Hall starting at 6:30, early leaders Sporting Central Academy fresh from their 2-0 win over Harbour View will be hunting their second win at the expense of a Montego Bay United outfit seeking their first league win.

Portmore United host a Humble Lion aggregation at 7:00 pm, still smarting from a 0-4 defeat in midweek to Arnett Gardens in the knockout trophy. Humble Lion opened their account last Sunday edging Arnett Gardens in the league and will have to lift themselves up for this battle at Ferdie Neita Park.

In form and dangerous looking Tivoli Gardens are fancied to get pass Rivoli United at the Prison Oval in their 3:30 pm game. Tivoli defeated Montego Bay 1-0 last Sunday then followed that up with an impressive 4-2 demolition of Boys Town in the Flow Cup playing with 10 men for the entire second half.

At the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, Arnett Gardens should prove too hot to handle for promoted August Town in their 6:00 pm match.
