France manager Didier Deschamps has revealed that Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has tested positive for the coronavirus, Covid-19.

The 27-year-old will now have to self-isolate for 14 days and will miss France’s Nations League game in Sweden on Saturday, September 5th and the home game against Croatia on Tuesday.

Deschamps also revealed that Pogba will be replaced in the France squad by 17-year-old Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Subsequent to two negative tests, Pogba could still be eligible for selection for United’s Premier League opener against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on September 19th.
