Marlon Samuels suspect again for bowling irregularities

Jamaican and West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels bowling has been once again called scrutiny after he was reported for a suspect action during the 1st Test match between Sri Lanka and the West Indies in Galle.

This is the third time in his career that he is brought under scrutiny.

On the two previous occasions, 2008 when his action saw him being suspended from bowling for two years and again he was reported in November 2013; cleared in December, but banned from bowling quicker deliveries.

The part-time off-spinner and off breaker now needs to have testing within 14 days.

Samuels was also banned for two year from cricket between May 2008 and May 2010 for passing information to a bookmaker during an Indian tour.
