With 12 games to go and 36 points to haul in before the big four battle, Cavalier and Boys Town know there should be no slipping up going forward for the rest of the season.

It is not uncommon to see Boys Town fighting to pull themselves away from the relegation zone and since the latter part of last year they have been facing an uphill battle to avoid relegation.

The Red Stripe Premier League has many surprise packages and Boys Town couldn’t wish for a more out-of-form opponent to play before facing Montego Bay United and Humble Lion.

Boys Town face Cavaliers SC at Stadium East 5:00 pm.and will be looking for their third win in six games as Andrew Prices’s side prepare for a tough final period. His team’s success heavily depends on how long the core of the team can stay fit. Boys Town midfielder Micheal ‘Bangy’ Campbell should be back along with Peter Keys after missing a couple of games.

Manager Andrew Price has not reported any fresh injuries and there are suspension concerns. Their leading talisman Rafiek Thomas on 9 goals and young Shamar ‘Bowza’ Nicholson on 6 goals are expected to lead the charge for the Red Brigade. They were both on target in their last Red Stripe Premier League outing.

It is two months since Cavaliers FC last won in the Premier League, so it’s not surprising that they’re in the bottom five of the table and only four points adrift of safety. They sit only one place and one point above today’s opponents in their final game of round two.

After guiding Cavalier to Premier League promotion a couple seasons ago with an impressive run, under-fire manager Rudolph Spied has changed personnel and formation to no avail. They have won just six times this season and have taken seven point from a possible 36 in their last twelve games. Ironically their last win came at Collie Smith Drive where they beat Boys Town 3-1.

Cavaliers FC have lost four of their nine games at home and have had little luck at home with two wins and three draws. Anything less than a win would not be accepted by the fans this Sunday. With a fully fit squad to choose from Mr Spied would opt to field his strongest possible eleven to secure 3 points. Girvan Brown has been misfiring for quite a few games now but he was spotted at range working assiduously hard on his shooting. The inform and technically gifted Chevone Marsh should help to pull the string in mid-field for Cavaliers.
