Currently pursuing sixth form studies at Wolmer’s Boys School, Hyde’s deal with the telecoms firm was brokered by his management company, GCMC led by Track & Field aficionado, Garfield Coke, and will cover technical services including, nutrition, physiotherapy, grooming and mental coaching for the young athlete.

“Being picked for Team LIME is a great honour and one that allows me the opportunity to further my dream of becoming a professional athlete while representing a company that is doing great work, not only in Jamaica, but across the region.” shared Hyde.

” I want to thank them for believing in me and, like LIME, I have the inevitable goal of becoming Number One – optimally rounded, brilliant and known for producing stellar performances.” he furthered.

Commenting on the new partnership, LIME’s Carlo Redwood said, “We are excited about the opportunity to get involved with and support Jaheel’s transition to the next level as a professional. We will be pouring in our full energy as his sponsor to ensure that he is on track in achieving his fullest potential.” Redwood added.

Hyde’s first call of duty will be during LIME’s sponsorship of the Youth View Awards (YVA’s) scheduled for February 21. He will also be included in the company’s promotional campaigns and other youth-oriented projects.

“It was an easy decision to associate our brand with Jaheel. He is bright, talented, disciplined, and we believe ready to take on what promises to be an exciting journey as we strengthen our connection with the youth market.” Redwood pointed out.
