Wolmers Immaculate and Campion look to shine in Mayberry High School Tennis

Mayberry Investments Limited High Schools Tennis Competition in association with Tennis Jamaica will serve off tomorrow, Thursday November 14th at 9:00am at the Eric Bell Tennis Centre.

 

There will be 31 teams participating both in the under 15 and under 19 boys and  girls categories.

 

The official opening ceremony/dress parade will begin at 1:00pm. The world team tennis format (20/20 Jamaican style), will be used throughout the competition. 

 

All ties will be played on one court and each match will be first to six games and a seven point tie breaker will be used if the score is tied at 6 all.

 

In the under 19 category the matches will be four singles and three doubles while in the under 15 category there will be three singles and two doubles.

 

All the top teams throughout the island are through to the finals. Defending champions in the boys under 19 are Wolmers while Immaculate will defend the girls title.

 

The girls under 15 defending champions is also Immaculate, while Campion defends the boys under 15 title.

 

The two schools to look out for this year are, Mobay High in the girls and Hillel in the boys.
