The Constant Spring Field comes alive today, Wednesday 28th of March 2018 as defending champions Tivoli Gardens FC will tackle 2015 champions Waterhouse FC at 6:30 pm in the curtain raiser, while 2016 champions Arnett Gardens FC will engage the 2013 champions Harbour View in the days feature encounter at 8: 30 pm.

Kemar Beckford's 6th goal in his 8th game of the season gave Waterhouse a hard-fought win over "The Stars of The East" Harbour View, at the Drewsland Mini Stadium, in the last game of round 18 in the Red Stripe Premier League last Thursday.

After receiving a sound beating at home at the hands of leaders Portmore United in the Red Stripe Premier League a week ago, Waterhouse FC coach Glendon Bailey was hoping for a proper response from his troops away to Harbour View on Sunday night and at the end of the ninety minutes was pleased to come away with a clean sheet and a point.

Waterhouse FC were left counting their lucky stars while FC Reno was left fuming following a 1-1 draw in the Red Stripe Premier League fixture at the Waterhouse Stadium on Sunday. A Craig Foster header in the 66th minute was cancelled out by a Rodico Wellington penalty in stoppage time as the teams shared the spoils.

Humble Lion FC whipped Tivoli Gardens 4-0 at the Effortville Community Centre on Sunday to finish top of the pile of the Red Stripe Premier League after leaders at the beginning of the day, UWI FC fell 2-0 to Portmore United at the Spanish Town Prison Oval.

A point behind the UWI at the start of the day, Humble Lion needed a win over Tivoli plus help from Portmore to surpass the Mona based team and claim the $1million dollar bounty.

The University of the West Indies FC are ninety minutes away from crowning themselves in glory.  Only in their second season in the Red Stripe Premier League, the Marcel Gayle coached unit leads second placed Humble Lion by a point going into the last match day of the regular season and ultimately has their fate in their own hands.

The goal proved to be the winner as Waterhouse climbed above Boys Town to 9th place in the standings with two games left in the season for both clubs.

 

 

Waterhouse swapped places with Boys Town following a narrow 1-0 win in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday via a Kemar Beckford 13th minute penalty, as they continued to ease their way to safety late in the season.
