The Jamaica Athletics Administration Association today received permission from of the Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Health and Wellness, The Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development, to host a series of Qualification Trials to give junior and senior athletes the much-needed competition.

The UWIFC made light work of Rae Town in the Jamaica National/KSAFA Super League on Saturday when they defeated their opponents, 7-1 at the UWI Bowl courtesy of a hat-trick from Mitch Wright and a brace from substitute Jeffery Brown.

GC Foster College edged the University of the West Indies (UWI) 1-0 on Saturday as action continued in the Sherwin Williams Women’s Football league. It was the third straight win for GC Foster who continues to lead Group B, as they inflicted the second defeat in three games on the UWI.

The contest was settled by an Amanda Maxwell 15th minute strike, a second straight, one goal game, in which the UWI has played in as many matches.
