Photo: Portmore United captain, Ewan Grandison scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 win as last year's beaten finalists defeated Tivoli Gardens 3-2 on aggregate in the quarterfinals of the Red Stripe Premier League. Portmore United will play in their second semifinal since returning to the Premier League last season.

Tivoli Gardens got the better of Portmore United in the Red Stripe Premier League Ash Wednesday fixture, thanks to a brace from their talisman and leading goal scorer Jermaine “Teddy” Johnson who scored either side of a striker from Ewan Grandison who netted for the visitors on the stroke of half time.

Montego Bay United, on Monday night, took advantage of the slip by misfiring Portmore United on Sunday, to return to the top of the Red Stripe Premier League when they blanked FC Reno 2-0 courtesy of a Dino Williams brace at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
