Cavalier SC Assistant coach David Lalor insists that his youung team can get the job done at Harbour View on Monday Night despite missing captain Chevone Marsh and the skilful Alex Marshall who are away on internationl duty with the Reggae Boyz.




Ten days after playing out a 0-0 draw at the Barbican football field Boys Town FC and Montego Bay United will face each again at the same venue. Boys Town won the first meeting of the season between these two teams in the first round and have taken four points off the former champions so far this season.

Kemar Beckford's 6th goal in his 8th game of the season gave Waterhouse a hard-fought win over "The Stars of The East" Harbour View, at the Drewsland Mini Stadium, in the last game of round 18 in the Red Stripe Premier League last Thursday.

Despite recording a 1-1 draw with Harbour View FC and picking up seven points from their last three games played in the Red Stripe Premier League, Jamalco FC will return to parish football after making their debut in top flight football this season.

The fate of the Clarendon based outfit was sealed on Wednesday where only a win would have kept them in the running for premiership survival.

KINGSTON, Jamaica: UWI Football Club is the latest team to join the coveted fraternity of Lucozade-sponsored teams.  On Wednesday, September 14, Lucozade Ribena Suntory announced that it will be sponsoring the Mona-based outfit in the 2016/17 Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) season.

The other Lucozade-sponsored team is Harbour View Football Club, a mainstay and top performer in the Premier League. Both teams were presented with sponsorship cheques and products during a function at the offices of Cari-Med Limited, local distributors of Lucozade.

The fairytale debut season in the Red Stripe Premier League continued for the University of the West Indies FC on Sunday when they scored a narrow 1-0 win over Cavalier SC at the UWI Bowl to maintain their current fourth place in the 12 team league.
