The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) has released a 84 member squad for the 46th staging of the Carifta Games to be held at the Ergilio Hato Stadium, Willemstad, Curacao from April 15-17. The 2016 squad achieved a record, 86 medal haul as Jamaica claimed their 30th straight hold on the title, a streak that probably won’t ever be broken.

Thus has come as a result of his stunning accomplishments at the ISSA Boys and Girls Championship in 2015.

Reigning Class Two 100m and 110m hurdles champion, Dejour Russel of Calabar shone bright at the Digicel/Puma Youngster Goldsmith Meet on Saturday, taking the unique double at the National Stadium in Kingston.

He won the 110m hurdles final in 14.11 seconds ahead of teammates Micheal Stephens 14.25 seconds and Orlanda Bennett 14.28 seconds.
