Actions heat up on the third day of the ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championship with five scheduled finals and qualifying in the 100 meters and 1500 meters for all classes.
All the athletes are listed and expected to grace the track in the highly anticipated Class One Boys 100m.
Jhevaughn Matherson is listed for heat three lane 4, Nigel Ellis from St Elizabeth Technical will run out of heat one, lane 4 and St Jago High Raheem Chambers is listed for heat three, lane 4.
The finals listed for today are that of the High Jump Girls Class Three; Long Jump Girls, Class Four and Two, Shot Put Class Two Boys and High Jump Boys Class three.
The semifinals of the 800 all classes and 200m meters are also on the cards for the afternoon session. The boys are down to contest the 5000m open, along with the completion of the Boys Decathlon event.
The field events listed for day three are Girls Javelin Open, High Jump for Class Four Girls and Class Two Boys, Long Jump Class One and Two Girls along with the Class Three Boys equivalent.
The day's proceedings will close with action from the 4x 400m qualifying. Kingston College and Hydel leads the Boys and Girls Championship respectively.
