Olympic and World Championship quarter miler Javon Francis clocked 20.66 seconds to win his season opening 200 meter race at the PVAMU Back To The Track Series on Thursday

The 25-year-old American beat out runner-up Elijah Hall, who finished in 20.77 seconds in section two, while Kahmari Montgomery who won section one in 20.86 seconds completed the podium spots.

The winning time by Francis was not very far off of his 20.52 personal best set back in 2018 at the Queen's Grace Jackson Meet in Kingston Jamaica.

Francis' win follows up on his 300m victory last Thursday at the USA Track and Field's Back to the Track Series in Texas.

Another Jamaican, former junior standout sprinter Odeen Skeen clocked 6.74 seconds for fourth overall in the Men’s 60m.

Hall rebounded with victory in 10.20s in the 100m while Skeen 10.35 and Francis 10.57 finished 7th and 10th overall in the 100m,
