The outgoing president of the FIFA, Joseph Sepp Blatter is being questioned by the Swiss Attorney General, this according to reports coming out of the BBC.

FIFA, football’s highest governing body has been rocked with scandals recently and now Blatter is being investigated on “suspicion of misappropriation and criminal mismanagement”.

A press conference that was scheduled to take place today at the headquarters in Zurich was cancelled.

A number of FIFA association presidents were arrested earlier this year, including Jeffrey Webb who was then president of CONCACAF.

At the heart of the matter being investigated currently is a 2005 television deal between Blatter and former CONCACAF President Jack Warner.
