Telecommunications giants LIME, has scored big with the new Super Cup, fittingly called the Champions League of Schoolboy Football. The competition has seen massive crowds at all the venues in the three weekends it has been held so far. A David versus Goliath final between underdogs Holy Trinity High and massive favourites Jamaica College has set the stage for the perfect final at Sabina Park on Saturday November 8th, starting at 4:00pm.

Vice President of Marketing at LIME, Carlo Redwood is quite pleased with what has taken place so far and is preparing to close the competition with a bang.

Speaking with Yardie Sports after the semi-finals he said, “We have had two massive , massive semi-finals, you saw the type of crowds that come out, you saw the quality of football, you saw the hunger from a giant killing team like Holy Trinity that’s determined, very determined, to win this competition. We see JC perennial champions, hard to beat ,wanting to win everything, but certainly wanting to be the first winners of this LIME Super cup.

“Unfortunately STETHS ,the lone DaCosta Cup team going down, very popular Wolmer’s going down, but that’s the nature of knock out competitions and the champions league of football, that’s what we intended to deliver and look out for a fantastic final with two hard fighting teams.”

The final day is set to be more than just about football and Redwood promises something special for all those who are in attendance.

“We are also going to have a magnificent show for all of the fans who come out to Sabina Park, get your tickets early and come out to the game early. We are having a massive pregame show with two huge artistes ,Konshens and Romain Virgo and again all delivered at no cost.

“Just get your tickets whether it’s in the Observer or from a LIME store. Come to the game, you are going to get massive performances, you are going to get tones of giveaways again, we are giving away two thousand US dollars again, to two lucky LIME customers again, tones of credit, tones of phones tones of excitement, like what LIME always delivers. You can look forward to that and more, don’t miss it,” he explained.

The first of its kind to be held in Jamaica, the LIME Super Cup has enthralled football fans across the country, bringing out numbers to matches not seen in years, except for the finals of the various competitions. The month long competition will come to and with the champions holding aloft the spanking new crystal trophy that was made in Sweden.
