The World Cup has been over for exactly one week now with the Germans emerging as champions of the world. The focus now shifts towards club football around the world with the FIFA transfer window now open and will end come September 1st 2014.

Some clubs have already made some important moves and locally the transfer market has already begun to heat up. Boys Town FC was in survival mode last season and managed to escape the drop, but is desperate not to find themselves living in the bottom half of the table in the 2014-15 season.

Yardie Sports has been reliably informed that experience defender and national representive Xavian Virgo has made the move back home to the Boys Town club from 2012-2013 champions Harbour View FC.

Virgo left the club in January of 2013 making it known that he wanted to win a title and hopefully secure an overseas contract. The defender is now off the island but, Yardie Sports understands that the club made sure to secure the defender’s signature before he left and Virgo will be wearing the famous red jersey in the upcoming Red Strip Premier league.

The source told Yardie Sports that the club will look to make so more big moves in the coming weeks and has already started discussions with some of the key persons they are looking to bring in ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.

Training will start on Monday July 21st, at 4:00pm and they expect to see some more new faces turn up at the Collie Smith Oval.
