North Street schools sweep Southern Conference Basketball titles
St. Georges College (STGC) and Kingston College (KC) both secured game 2 wins in the best-of-three finals, to claim the Under-16 and Under-19 titles respectively at the Stadium Courts today.
St. Georges College (STGC) and Kingston College (KC) both secured game 2 wins in the best-of-three finals, to claim the Under-16 and Under-19 titles respectively at the Stadium Courts today.
STGC who were led by Ardenne for most of the first half had to dig deep to come up with the win and dethrone a school that had secured seven back-to-back titles, before finally surrendering it today.
KC also found themselves pushed by their opponents as Wolmer’s gave everything they had to try and push the series to a third game. In the end KC were able to pull away and secure a much deserved win.
