Aston Villa looking to add to Stoke woes

Aston Villa is thirsty for a win in Barclays Premier League and today could be the day when their thirst is quenched in a match against Stoke City. On the League table Stoke City is at 13th place and Villa is at 11th place. This match is vital to both teams without a doubt.

Stoke City comes into the game with a three-match unbeaten run in the league. In this particular match however, Stoke City comes in on the back of  a 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the Capital One Cup quarter-final. 

Stoke City have not won any of the five meetings with Aston Villa and four of those matches were draws. 

On the current form of both teams a draw is a likely result. Both of them have a -5 goal difference and have struggled to find the back of the net with any consistency.
